Aston Martin has stunned guests and enthusiasts of the British marque in Dubai, with the Middle East dynamic debut of the limited edition, track-only 7.0-litre V12 supercar, Aston Martin Vulcan, the luxury brand’s most intense and exhilarating creation to date.
300 special guests witnessed Aston Martin Middle East and North Africa ambassador, Ahmad Al Harthy get behind the wheel of the 800-plus bhp, all-carbon fibre, Aston Martin Vulcan. Al Harthy, who drives a V12 Vantage GT3 in the British GT championship, demonstrated the supercar’s full potential along a closed Emaar Boulevard in downtown Dubai, in the shadow of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
Neil Slade, General Manager of Aston Martin Middle East and North Africa, says “This special event in Dubai is very important for the brand globally, as well as in the Middle East. It was a natural choice to select Ahmad to drive and showcase the Aston Martin Vulcan due to his racing experience and strong links with our brand.”
The 7.0-litre V12 petrol engine , powered by the most potent iteration yet of the company’s naturally-aspirated, eveloped in conjunction with Aston Martin Racing the Aston Martin Vulcan is predicted to be capable of sprinting from rest to 60 mph in under 3.0 seconds, and achieving a top speed of over 200mph.
