Baume & Mercier launches Limited Edition Ceramic timepieces

Baume & Mercier has launched Ceramic timepieces as Limited Editions for women in the Middle East and it is the first of its kind ceramic watch to be crafted by the 183 years old Swiss Maison d’Horlogerie. The chic 32mm Linea, which is limited to 150 pieces is finished in polished two-tone and black ceramic and is available exclusively in the Middle East.

This timepiece features a shiny black ceramic case with a 18K red gold capped engraved bezel and a 18K red gold crown making up a total gold weight of 9.0 grams. The dial is sun satin-finished and silk-screened black with gilt riveted indexes and hands, all in perfect harmony with the case and the bracelet. The timepiece has a mechanical self-winding movement that features a date function, 42 hours power reserve and an oscillating weight ornamented with the Phi symbol.

The new timepiece comes with an additional strap, staying true to Linea’s hallmark interchangeable strap system. The shiny 18K red gold capped black bracelet can be replaced by a shiny black alligator strap in a simple snap. This feature is a celebrated attribute of the best-selling ladies collection and allows the wearer to change the strap according to the mood and style at that moment.

The UAE Capeland Limited Edition was introduced in 2012 by Baume & Mercier followed by the two-tone ceramic Linea. The dedication of Baume & Mercier is evident with the fact that the brand has opened its only boutique in the world in the renowned Dubai Mall. For Baume & Mercier the feminine segment has always been an endless source of inspiration and  crafting a ladies’ Limited Edition, especially for the Middle East, was only a natural progression.
