British car manufacturer Bentley unveiled its first ever fragrance for men, which brings together two world-renowned brands – French crystal maker Lalique and the legendary British car company. The outcome is the ‘Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition,’ an opulent crystal flacon with the legendary ‘Flying B’ Bentley mascot and the wings, which are finely wrought in gleaming crystal epitomising timeless beauty. The base of the crystal edition is frosted and decorated with the logo, ‘Lalique for Bentley.’ It comes in a wooden box with an elegant leathery interior. It also has an extra drawer for a separate bottle of the Eau de Perfume.
The fragrance has top notes of elegant and rich accord of orris butter and white cedar wood. The heart is made of woody notes of sensual patchouli and creative papyrus. The unique and luxurious base notes are of dry amber and musk, all blending together to create an unforgettable masculine fragrance that is fit to be a collector’s item. This charismatic scent is created by Mylène Alran Robertet France. Her passion for deep and woody notes such as patchouli is very obvious in this creation.
The ‘Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition’ showcases the finest glassmaking expertise and is limited to only 999 pieces, to be available at a number of carefully selected retailers from April 2013.
The other fragrances from Bentley are the ‘Bentley for Men’ and the ‘Bentley for Men Intense,’ which have been created by top French perfumer Nathalie Lorson from the perfume house Firmenich. ‘Bentley for Men’ is an oriental spicy fragrance and the Intense version takes these notes to another level by infusing the rich scent with aromatic African geranium. The designs of the bottles echo the luxury of Bentley cars with elegant symmetrical shapes and the iconic Bentley knurling feature on the stopper.
Both captivating Bentley fragrances will be available at selected perfumeries and department stores from April 2013.
