Porsche Motorsport extends championship lead at the 6 Hours of Fuji 2017 in Japan despite rain, fog and red flag neutralisations Porsche Motorsport and its Official Timing Partner Chopard, well positioned to defend their WEC titles.
After their recent outstanding victories at Le Mans 2017, Nürburgring, in Mexico and in the USA, the Porsche Motorsport LMP1 teams came to Japan willing
to extend their supremacy over the championship at the Six Hours of Fuji 2017 and prepare the final rounds of the WEC year.
The hybrid race car driven by André Lotterer and his team mates, reached the finish line in third position. The sister-car composed of the trio, Earl Bamber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley,
arrived in fourth position. Chopard takes great pride in being the official timing partner of Porsche Motorsport.
Perfectly in line with the performance targets of the team, Chopard presented for the first time in Japan the Superfast Power Control Porsche 919 HF Edition,
produced in a 100-piece limited serie, and embodying a pure performance thanks to a new Chopard movement: the high-frequency Calibre 01.11-M.
