EBEL launches La Maison EBEL, a limited edition watch collection

Bienne, Switzerland, EBEL is proud to launch the limited edition collection La Maison EBEL
to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Villa Turque as La Maison EBEL. This physical home is emblematic and a powerful source of inspiration for the brand, designed in 1916 by renowned architect Le Corbusier in La Chaux-de- Fonds, Switzerland.

Flavio Pellegrini, Global President EBEL says “La Maison EBEL Limited Edition perfectly represents the symbolic continuum of a milestone of a glorious past, an admirable present and an exciting future. An existence built on the same founding principle of the architectural magic that happens when beauty marries function .”

The timeless pattern of the gleaming mother-of-pearl dial of La Maison EBEL Limited Edition collection is inspired by the oval window of the villa, offering an intriguing reminder of an introspective souvenir of the past and an enlightened perspective of the future. There are three different dial expressions with a total of 75 pieces in the collection. The first interpretation evokes the initial impression exuded by the wearer and by EBEL in their interaction with the world: an expression of who they are. The second version, featuring an inner oval window set with brilliant-cut diamonds, represents a view into the soul and the treasures of beauty and experience that lie within a powerful symbol of the brand’s strikingly emotional and beautiful heritage. The third variation highlights the emblematic window theme that adopts an outward- looking perspective.

La Maison EBEL Limited Edition is designed with a small second hand and a beautifully rounded date aperture available in 18K yellow, white or pink gold with matching bracelet or on cognac-colored, midnight blue or burgundy alligator straps. All models are powered by fine Swiss mechanical movements. The exquisite dial also features a sunray guilloche moon phase representing the passing of time, the perception of the transposition of night and day and the gathering of moments with every changing season.

Le Corbusier’s design creations truly withstand the test of time. In much the same way, the distinctively innovative models designed by EBEL radiate an enduring elegance that signals them out as true “monuments of time”.
