Hundred year old Turkish culinary experience arrives in the UAE

Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons Group in partnership with the Turkish Bagul family, launched Petek Restaurant & Sweets, a famous name in Turkey for over one hundred years. The new restaurant is located in Rolex Building – World Trade Center in Corniche Road in Abu Dhabi.

Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Rasool Khoory, board member of Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons Group says “The inauguration of Petek Restaurant is part of our plan to expand our commercial activities to include the hospitality sector after our success in the past 55 years in other sectors such as luxury watches, Jewelries, accessories, real estate development and food products.”

Mr. Serkan Alpagul, founder and owner of Turkish Petek Restaurants Group says “It is our pleasure to open a new branch here in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the prestigious and pioneering Mohammed Rasool Khoory Group. He added, “At Petek, we personally supervise every item we serve, guarantee the purchase of best quality raw materials, rely on renowned recipes for the preparation of our dishes, purchase and store the best quality nuts such as pistachio, pecan and hazelnut according to the sites and season of their cultivation, and finally, make breads in our own brick oven”.

Rasool Khoory & Sons Group has collaborated with the Bagul family from Turkey to introduce this heritage rich cuisine for Turkish food lovers in the UAE, starting with the inauguration of the largest restaurant spread across 1,300 sq. meters and three levels in Abu Dhabi. He also announced the plan to inaugurate the second branch after one month at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, and the third branch after three months at Airport Road in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant is characterized by a reputation built on its mixture of unique flavors, use of recipes that have been acquired through the generations and the management’s care to provide distinguished service to customers. It is these attributes have made the restaurant not only unique, but also an essential and indispensable part of the history of Iskenderun and Turkey.
