Jaeger-LeCoultre supports British Polo Day in Russia

British Polo Day was held for the second time at the Tseleevo Golf and Polo on 26th July 2014 and celebrated Swiss watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre was the official watch partner of the British Polo Day Global Series held not only in Russia but also in Abu-Dhabi, Dubai, India, China, USA, Australia, Mexico, and Morocco.

The event, combining an engrossing game of polo with a unique high-society environment, attracted over 400 visitors, including Head of the Department of Physical Fitness and Sport for the Moscow region Oleg Zholobov, ballet star Andris Liepa, designer Alisa Tolkacheva, owner of Jean Louis David salons Tatyana Rogachenko, and member of the Russian Special Olympics Judo and Alpine Skiing team Ekaterina Sazonova.

In attendance were Chadwick Delaney, Managing Director at Justerini & Brooks, Peter Prentice, Brand Director at Royal Salute, Andrew Cameron, Managing Partner at Charles Russell, as well as and Isabelle Gervais, International PR Director at Jaeger-LeCoultre, Switzerland.

Mikhail Rodzyanko, host of the second British Polo Day Russia says “ We were happy to host the second British Polo Day at the Moscow Polo Club. It was a big success and, this year, the results have surpassed all expectation. Events like British Polo Day not only contribute to the development of polo throughout Russia but also form tight international friendships which are today more important and needed than ever.”

In all countries, polo tournaments are associated with charity, and British Polo Day also actively seeks donations. As of today, the amount of 1,230,386 US dollars has been raised, which has been distributed between charities in a number of countries.
