Dubai, January 31, 2012: Middle East’s ultimate entertainment destination and a star attraction of the Dubai Shopping Festival – Big Boys Toys 2013 – was inaugurated by HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on January 31 at Atlantis, The Palm and remained open to the public through February 2, 2013.
On display were some of the world’s most elite exhibitors, presenting the best of Adventure, Aviation, Digital, Drive, Fashion, Lifestyle, Marine, Off Road and Super Cars. His Royal Highness took a tour around the exhibition and met with local exhibitors and discussed their innovative ideas.
Big Boys Toys was organised by Artaaj Events as a three-day show and saw various launches like the unique super car, Soleil Anadi, and the magnificent Ostoure motorcycle. Reputed to be the ultimate playground, the event gave car enthusiasts plenty of opportunities to get behind the wheels of fabulous super cars in the world like models from the Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferrari ranges.
At the grand opening of BBT, Biju Jayaraj, the CEO of Artaaj, commented, “Big Boys Toys is back, bigger and better than ever. We are very proud of the wide range of products and activities featured in this year’s show. We are happy to provide all visitors with three days of unforgettable and unlimited entertainment.”
Visitors enjoyed amazing experiences of luxury, because on display were items like the crystallised gold galaxy piano; the world’s most expensive water bottle, Aurum 79, worth AED3.3 million; and a priceless collection of gems and jewels, commissioned by the Mozafarian Jewellers to the Persian monarchy, to name a few.
Invitees also got a chance to win big by participating in one of the biggest raffles with an AED one million cash prize.
