Richard Mille opens new boutique in Prestige Village in Porto Cervo, Sardinia

Richard Mille officially opened an exclusive boutique on June, 19, 2013 in the Prestige Village at Porto Cervo, one of the Mediterranean’s most famous and exclusive beachside resorts. The boutique showcases the choicest luxury brands hosted by Harrods and the Porto Cervo Marina.

In attendance at the opening of the luxury boutique were Richard Mille, Roberto Mancini – football manager and Richard Mille partner, Dominique Guenat – Richard Mille’s Business Partner and Peter Harrison – CEO Richard Mille Europe Middle East and Africa Ltd. A select few from the Italian and European press who took part in the opening cocktail reception at the boutique followed by dinner in one of Italy’s most renowned restaurants on the Costa Smeralda.

The picturesque natural harbour on the North East coastline of Sardinia, Porto Cervo is one of the Mediterranean’s most famous and exclusive beachside resorts, and attracts a huge crowd of international elite. Richard Mille recognises the potential of this popular destination and announced its first season in Sardiania with the support and the corporation the brand has established with Harrods over a number of years.

The new fifty square meter boutique in Porto Cervo showcases a comprehensive range of Richard Mille timepieces similar to its London boutique located in Harrods’ Fine Watch Room. Tourbillons and limited editions as well as the latest releases such as the new RM 11-01 Roberto Mancini Flyback Chronograph and the RM 39-01 Automatic Aviation E6-B will be included in the collection. To complete the collection, on display will be a rare RM 003 Boutique Special Edition and a piece unique RM 016 White Gold with a geometric patterned case.

The company Richard Mille was founded in 2001 and is based in Les Breuleux, in the Canton of Jura, Switzerland. Inspired by the aeronautical industry and F1 Grand Prix technology Richard Mille revolutionised traditional watch making methods through his vision of creating very innovative timepieces through the use of unique materials such as titanium and carbon fiber.  The heart of the company i.e. the R &D is located in Chateau de Monbouan in France from where Richard Mille creates its concepts and designs.
