Summer getaway at Four Seasons Hotel Megève

Nestled in the heart of the French Alps and the ‘Pays du Mont-Blanc’, Four Seasons Hotel Megève offers chic, contemporary style in a stunning natural environment. This enchanting family-friendly retreat is set to reopen for the summer season on 14 June, just in time for Eid Al Fitr. With its refreshing blend of Alpine charm and sophistication, Four Seasons Hotel Megève is the ideal destination to relax and unwind during your summer break.

Four Seasons Hotel Megève is the first Four Seasons mountain destination in Europe. Capturing the essence of a modern Alpine chalet, this intimate property comprises 55 spacious accommodations, most of which come with a cosy fireplace and balcony. All of the comfortably appointed guestrooms and suites provide sweeping views of the breathtaking Alpine scenery.

Elevating Megève’s legendary reputation for outstanding cuisine, the Hotel is home to a range of exceptional dining options. Le 1920 is a Michelin-two-star restaurant showcasing the finest in locally sourced French cuisine. This renowned gastronomic eatery features gourmet dishes prepared by Chef Julien Gatillon, and is open for lunch and dinner. Kaito is Megève’s first Japanese restaurant and offers an array of delicate and creative cuisine, which artfully combines classics from east with local Alpine produce.

Both outlets feature wood and stone interiors with numerous fireplaces and expansive windows, while their large outdoor terraces provide the perfect venue for al fresco dining during the warm summer evenings.

When not outside enjoying the fresh mountain air, you can relax at the Hotel’s 900-square-metre (9,700-square-foot) Spa. Capturing the serenity of Mont d’Arbois, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Megève welcomes you to the largest and most luxurious wellness facilities of any hotel in the region. This intimate sanctuary features six treatment rooms including a VIP couple’s suite, sauna and steam rooms, a beauty salon and a well-equipped fitness centre.

A range of special packages are available this summer, including three-day and five-day Spa Retreats. Designed to help you relax, reset and revitalize, the retreats feature a carefully crafted schedule of gentle stretching, massage, detoxifying spa treatments and muscle strengthening sessions. Both itineraries also include hiking excursions in the Megève valley, which are suitable for all levels and great for families. Compliment these activities with a wholesome and delicious lunch served daily at Bar Edmond or Kaito Restaurant, which is included as part of the package.

The Weight Loss Program involves exercise sessions with a personal trainer, stretching, massages and fitness walks in the beautiful mountain surroundings, complete with local wildlife watching – marmots, chamois and many more species can be spotted around the Hotel.

The Mountain Detox Program offers meditation sessions, hiking (solo or as a family), stretching, sophrology, swimming in mountain rivers, massages and treatments using Tibetan singing bowls, incense and warm oils.

Both programs include access to the Hotel’s indoor and outdoor pools, which feature balneotherapy jets, a water current system for swimming training, a sauna, a hammam and a spacious terrace, as well as bespoke ‘detox’ menus crafted by Michelin-two-star chef Julien Gatillon.
