Rolls-Royce Motor cars bespoke team impressed with creativity of clients during UAE tour

Richard Collar, Head of Bespoke Sales and Marketing at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd led the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ team of Bespoke designers to pay a special visit to the UAE as they toured the region to meet with the brand’s prestigious clients to discuss the capabilities of the Bespoke programme. The visit included the dealerships in Abu Dhabi and Dubai- Abu Dhabi Motors and AGMC, and the team presented some of the unique concepts being prepared for the year ahead.

Mr.Collar, praised the creativity of the Rolls-Royce’s customers in the UAE and their confidence in pushing the Bespoke programme to new limits in personalised automotive artistry. He says “Bespoke is Rolls-Royce. Tailor-made motor cars are at the core of our business and our customers in this region love the fact that they can reflect their individuality and their passion through one-of-a-kind ultra-luxury automobiles such as the ones we are showing. Our customers in the UAE are very valuable to us as they inspire our designers and push them to new areas and concepts.”

Through the Bespoke Programme Rolls-Royce Motor Cars provides personalised ultra-luxury to its customers, which gives them the liberty to customize their cars to suit their individual tastes and personalities. The Middle-East region boasts the richest bespoke specifications in the world and in 2013 every vehicle delivered contained bespoke elements, amongst them a number of themed bespoke artistic creations.

The Rolls-Royce Bespoke studio delivered several one-of-a-kind concepts to the region in 2013. The Phantom Coupe Chicane recently paid tribute to the historic Goodwood racing circuit, situated close to the Home of Rolls-Royce. Its blend of colour and black accents in addition to non-traditional, yet elegantly finished Carbon Fibre trim on the interior showed how Rolls-Royce designers work with a plethora of materials.

The Phantom Coupe Ruby, one of the most aesthetically pleasing creations in 2013, had a Merlot Red Mica exterior, with interiors fitted out in a twin tone Seashell (white) and Mugello Red. Other bespoke touches include a personalised clock with a cut ruby stone inlay, illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy, personalised tread plates graphics and a twin coach line in Seashell with an integrated ‘Ruby’ logo.

The commemorative Home of Rolls-Royce Collection which celebrates a decade of Rolls-Royce production at the Goodwood locale- the Aviator collection pays tribute to brand-founders Henry Royce and Charles Rolls’ work in aviation. The Alpine centenary collection features a number of Ghosts styled in homage to the 1913 Radley Silver Ghost which won the 1913 Alpine Trial.

2014 promises to be a significant year with the Bespoke Waterspeed Collection of Phantom Drophead Coupes, celebrating the spirit of adventure of Sir Malcom Campbell, who in 1937 broke the world waterspeed record in his Bluebird K3 hydroplane boat, powered by Rolls-Royce’s R-Type engine.

broke the world waterspeed record in his Bluebird K3 hydroplane boat, powered by Rolls-Royce’s R-Type engine, a moment globally renowned as a seminal act of British daring and endeavour.
